Mai Matsumuro (松室麻衣 Matsumuro Mai ) was one of the three original members and original lead singer of the J-pop band Dream also known as "Dream/DRM". During the time she that she participated in Dream, she was best known for her writing of the song "Night of Fire" until up to the last song "Sincerely: Ever Dream". She is also known for writing the lyrics to the Japanese version of BoA's debut single, "ID; Peace B".
In 2006, Matsumuro launched a solo career, releasing digital singles and performing live at the clubs Vanilla and SHIBUYA DESEO.
While with Dream, Mai wrote the lyrics to these songs.
